Today is the day to thank your course manager and the greenskeepers at your golf club for all the hard work they do to maintain the golf course.
The British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association, in conjunction with other greenkeeper and course superintendent groups around the world, is recognising those who help keep golf courses enjoyable and sustainable with international ‘Thank a Greenkeeper Day’ on September 13.
Golfers are being encouraged to join in the conversation on social media using the hashtag #ThankAGreenkeeper. In addition, golf courses and other groups are encouraged to provide special recognition for their greenkeeping teams.
