Schauffele is tied with Patrick Cantlay for 10th best odds at the Masters 2023 (20-1) and the No. 7 player in the Official World Golf Ranking is coming off a quarterfinal appearance in the 2023 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. However, he’s struggled to close out major championships over his career.
Schauffele has had six top-five finishes in majors, including two at Augusta National, but hasn’t been able to win. He’s in contention for the dubious distinction of “best player never to win a major” and last year’s performance at the Masters won’t inspire much confidence.
